This past weekend my parents, Nelson and I headed up to NYC to see Wicked! My mom has been obsessed with Wicked for quite some time and as a thank you for handling our wedding we decided this would be the perfect gift for her. Since her birthday is in December I purchased tickets for her birthday weekend, which also happens to be the week before Christmas, my mom loves NYC during Christmas time.

The play was AMAZING. I don't normally do well sitting still for too long but this play was so entertaining I didn't even notice. Even my dad and Nelson loved it. Most importantly I could tell my mom had an amazing weekend, immediately following she said she wanted to see it again!
What a lovely gift! I saw Wicked a few years ago in Chicago and just loved it. I wasn't so sure going in, but came out a true fan.

ReplyDeleteSummer, we saw the play earlier this year and we were delighted. My son loved it! I am so happy nyou went too, I could not think of a more perfect present for you mom. Yuu, guys, look so cute as a married couple.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about taking my mom to see Wicked for her birthday too. I took my mom to see Jersey Boys, which she loved. I highly recommend that show as well.
ReplyDeleteWicked is my favorite! The Boy and I went a few years ago and we both absolutely loved it. Husband and I were able to go again this year and it was just as good. I could see it over and over.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I saw Wicked in 2007. He worked on his bosses computer for one whole Saturday and they gave us amazing tickets to this show as a thank you! Great isn't it?
